Creative Mindfulness Workshop

Join us for a full-day Creative Mindfulness Workshop designed to combine the calming effects of mindfulness with the therapeutic power of art. This event is free and open to participants of all ages, including beginners with no prior artistic experience. The workshop focuses on using creative activities as a method for stress reduction, emotional exploration, and personal reflection.

The day begins with a brief orientation and introduction to mindfulness techniques led by one of our experienced art therapists. Participants will learn basic meditation practices, breathing exercises, and guided visualizations that are designed to enhance focus, relaxation, and emotional awareness. These techniques will serve as the foundation for the creative exercises that follow.

Following the mindfulness session, participants will engage in a series of art activities that include painting, drawing, and mixed-media exercises. Each activity is structured to allow individuals to express emotions, reflect on personal experiences, and explore their creativity in a supportive environment. Art therapists will guide participants through the process, offering prompts and suggestions while encouraging freedom of expression.

Lunch will be provided as a community-sharing experience, allowing participants to connect informally and discuss their morning activities. After lunch, the workshop will continue with collaborative projects designed to foster teamwork, empathy, and creative problem-solving. Participants will be invited to contribute to a communal art piece, integrating individual contributions into a cohesive and meaningful collective artwork.

In the final session, there will be a reflective discussion where participants can share their experiences, insights, and personal discoveries from the day. Art therapists will provide guidance on how to incorporate creative mindfulness practices into everyday life, emphasizing the therapeutic benefits that can extend beyond the workshop setting.
